When I graduated college three years ago, I entered a small life crisis upon realizing I didn’t know my own interests outside of school. I had spent the previous four (okay, five) years in the library working towards my Engineering degree, and any time outside of this was spent in the same college bars each weekend. While I had a great time letting loose in college, I knew that binge drinking four nights a week was not a sustainable hobby in my post grad life (or at least not a healthy one).
Upon graduating, I promised myself that I would try any hobby suggested to me until I found one that I enjoyed enough to continue doing. Lucky for me, I made this promise to myself at the start of 2020. We all know what happened that year, so it is easy to say I had a lot of time to myself at home to dedicate to my promised quest. While I found some activities I enjoy doing, trying out new hobbies and sharing my findings quickly became a hobby itself.
The following list includes every suggestion from friends, colleagues, and family members I’ve received over the past couple of years during my own search for a hobby. I have not tried every single one of these submissions, however I plan to continue to work through this list and document my findings on this site!
